CHAT adopts an Integrated Sustainable Development Model, working across five main thematic areas to improve lives in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Health and Nutrition

Comprehensive community and institutional health programs.

Community Health

Our trained health workers disseminate information on pregnant mother care, child health, immunization, and hygienic practices. We motivate pregnant mothers for institutional delivery and have educated 40 village Health Volunteers to treat common illnesses.

Mother and child care & treatment of minor ailments (485 centers)
Medical camps for young adults (HIV/AIDS checkups)
TB Eradication: ACSM project identified 784 TB patients linked to DOTS.
Specialty Care in 35 major hospitals (Cardiology, Kidney, ENT, etc.)

Leprosy Programs

Identification, treatment, and rehabilitation in 15 institutions.

HIV/AIDS Programs

ART, awareness, and rehabilitation in 18 institutions. Care & Support Centers in Theni, Dharmapuri, Trichy, etc.

Tribal Health Care

Health care and awareness building conducted in 18 institutions for tribal communities.
